International Art Exchange: The Canadian Arctic
This
is a drawing by Mikka, age 9, featuring many items that are characteristic
of Nunavut and Inuit culture. An amautiq is a parka women wear with an extended
hood for carrying babies. An Inuk is an Inuit person (the word 'Inuit' is
the plural.)
