MOKALENG SCHOOL FIELD TRIP: CULTURE
Singing
and dancing are both very important in our culture. We sing and dance to express
ourselves. We sing when we are celebrating, when we are praying and even when
we are sad. Here, our school's Cultural Group are performing dances wearing
traditional clothes made of springbok, kudu and cow skins. The boys are wearing
rattles on their feet made of camel thorn tree nuts and they are holding fly
whisks made of cows tails.
